یک منبع در امنیت ملی افغانستان که نخواست نامش افشا شود، به بی بی سی گفت که این روزنامه نگار به اتهام "افشای اسرار محرم دولتی به ایران" بازداشت شده است.

این منبع، جزئیات بیشتری در مورد این اتهام ارائه نکرد.
